As documents are generated for the daily service Docusmart automatically captures a copy of all documentation and stores it digitally. At the end of the day all records from the day's service are scanned in and matched to the mornings forms. Any missing or incomplete service job are identified via the Docusmart exception report which allows the Car Retailer to adhere to the strict manufacturers audit requirements for warranty claims.

Finance
The high movement of inventory through a Car Retailing operations means there are a lot of Vendor Invoices to be processed and approved. Docusmart's Accounts Payable module automates this processing and approval significantly reducing the time required for completion of the task. Customers suggest average time for processing decreases from 23 days to just 5 meaning early pay discounts and a more complete overview of cashflow is realized.

Document archiving
Docusmart has the capability to automatically capture and file all document output from service reports to financial statements from the ERP system and all emails.
