Since 1995, Redmap has been helping businesses reduce their operational costs and improve their bottom line by better managing their document based information.

 

Starting out as a scanning bureau in the early 90s, the opportunities that lay in developing simple applications for the Small to Medium Enterprise quickly became evident.After selling the scanning bureau to Brambles Recall in 1996, the directors decided to embrace the challenge and pursue the opportunities they saw in offering a quality product to the emerging document management industry.

 

As both the business and software have matured, the company’s strengths and the product’s high standards have been recognised in many arenas. Most notably, Redmap was awarded the Queensland State Premiers ICT Exporter of the Year award for three consecutive years (’02 through to ’05) and the Australian National ICT Exporter of the Year award in 2004. These successes have seen a number of the Redmap directors on advisory boards for the Federal Department of Trade, Austrade, and the Australian Information Industry Bureau.

 

 

The focus on simple yet powerful software has not only underpinned the success of the business, but has also made it attractive as an OEM provider for other vendors. Over the last

few years Redmap has delivered a number of OEMs, most recently the Re-Rite product produced for Toshiba, which is shipped worldwide with their  multi-function printers.

In the last three years Redmap has enjoyed rapid expansion, opening offices in the United State of America, and the Philippines, as the demand for our software applications continues to grow.
